What if every scene was in reverse order like in Memento?

Some may say that it would be copying Memento too much maybe, but I think this movie would have been more effective if they did that? Imagine if the movie first started out with Lucy waking up, on the boat, and finding out she had a child, and then the next scene would be Henry seeing the paintings of him, and reuniting with her, and then so on, and so on.

The last scenes would be Henry not meeting her yet, and getting it on with all those other women, which is a bittersweet ending still, because you know that he gets Lucy in the end.

I love this movie, and it's one of my favorites. But I thought that approach could have possibly made it better. What do you think?
