I guess in the same way that Wedding Singer succeeded. It has a unique chemistry not only between the two lead characters, but between all the characters. It's not surprising they both have the exact same IMDb rating.

This one in particular has a very strange ending. It's almost an uncomfortable feeling that you get, despite it being more or less the happiest ending you could hope for.

I just watched this for the first time and agree. It was a happy ending, but it's still a little depressing somehow. But it does show how much Henry truly loves her. Cute flick.

I almost wished she would've overcome her brain injury (somehow. "Plot"). However, that would've resulted in quite the shift... it's now a happy situation, but kind of a sad ending.

Easily could have had had her get kicked by a mule or something.
