i live in new york and theres raraely a girl my age, 15, who would try to be with a guy of that age. they might think the guy is attractive, but not want to make moves on them or anything.
She was totally fantasizing. I live in NY too (Originally from Cali) and in the whole movie she was trying to get with ANYONE. I'm sure big age differences are common when one is of legal age, that's probably why they didn't push any of the storyline further.
When I was 15 (and a virgin until I was 18), I flirted with ANYONE just like Megghy did too, even if they were older than me. :)
