'If We Got Back Together I Would.....'

There could be some errors, but it's still the gist of it.

1. I wouldn't be as much like a mother as like a lover.
2. I would pretend to really love his friends and family.
3. I wouldn't demand that he become like me.
4. I wouldn't count the calories in the food [dishes] that he makes for me with love.
(Dieting is my problem, not his. If he had the advantage of hormones [literally, point of view of hormones] to not gain weight, good for him.)
5. I wouldn't fold my clothes before making love.
6. I wouldn't make him listen to the Cure.
7. I would pretend to appreciate horror films and B-movies in general.
8. I would try to shut up now and then [sometimes].
9. I wouldn't take his jokes literally, even if he tells them when I've just woken up.
10. I wouldn't make a big deal of [weigh on] the fact that I'm always correct.
11. I would accept his shortcomings and not make a big deal about my superiority.
12. I wouldn't scold [reproach] him for his errors. At least the major ones. (Contacts with bitch ex-girlfriends are excluded from this list. Those I can hold against him, even forever [all of life]).
13. I wouldn't get mad at his wisecracks while dealing with [under] PMS.
14. I would let him be free to not share in my ideas. And I would try to find a way to hear his.
15. I wouldn't leave the big books of classic literature on the nightstand.
16. I would find a way around the orders of the orthopedist to find new sexual positions.
