I wonder, littlegoldwoman, why you feel the need to be so frequently insulting in your responses? Fear of clowns is a common phobia. I've known grown people to burst into tears at the sight of Ronald McDonald. Some people do find ALL clowns to be creepy. And expressing that opinion is nothing like saying that all black people steal or all Muslims are terrorists.

Yes it the exact same thing because behind every face full of makeup there is a person. A real person who gets sick of the negative stero types against clowns and the fear is ignorant.
Imagine what would happen (and just how stupid it would be) if someone broke out in tears every time they saw a hispanic man with long hair just because they were scared of the No Country For Old Men guy.
People wouldnt stand for it and they would be forced to get over their fear or hide it better.
You cant imagine the abuse clowns go through because our society has allowed this stigma. Its stupid and people need to realize, there are real people in every clown suit.

Civil rights for clowns! Down with clown-ism! In fact, clowns are the bestest people on the planet. And the bestest people FOR the planet, what with their carpooling, 30 to a car the way they do. They were green when green wasn't cool. How DARE anyone not like or be afraid of clowns! After all, it's not like they CHOSE to be clowns! They were born that way. It's not like they can just wash the clown off their faces or just stop being clowns. Oh, wait. They can wash it off and stop being clowns. And they're not a protected minority, either. Hmm. Sucks for clowns. John Wayne Gacy and Pennywise (Stephen King's Pennywise, not the band) ruined it for all clown-kind. :( Kinda makes me like a sad clown. And now I think I know how it feels to be a clown, with people discriminating against them for not being funny, and being incredibly annoying at the same time, throwing buckets of confetti on people who think it's going to be water. Ummmm, I am reading another of little gold woman's posts. At first I thought she was simply unbalanced but after the last post I think she might be extremely uneducated. It appears that she believes clowns are real and not people dressed up. Maybe they live with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny with the Tooth Fairy as her personal servant. I would very much like to know where she lives because apparently everyone there is super dooper friendly and polite!
