Why us she called Cookie? Anyway the real woman resembles the journalist.
shareShe isn't. It's Cokie. lol I think it's because growing up her favorite Sesame Street character was the Cokie MONSTER. haha Just Kidding. Believe it or not, I actually know this. I was an English/Journalism major in college, and was doing a paper on NPR. I was reading some background information on her, and read that one of her siblings couldn't pronounce her given name, Corrine (if I remember correctly and could only say, "Cokie." I guess that stuck with her into her adult-life.
But getting to your post...I actually I do see a resemblance...particularly in the eyes.
