Buying the rights to make this movie

So I've just watched the 2 Nick Broomfield documentaries about Arleen, The Selling of a Serial Killer (1992) and Life And Death Of A Serial Killer(2003).

It's sad to see how she became mad over the years waiting for the execution. But it's also sad to see how her judgement was made a circus, and how everybody (police, judge, lawyer and last-time friends) was so worried into making a lighty show so they could sell more expensive her story.

And this is the movie made over that, from the producers that paid them to mess the rest of her life.

Might it be coincidence that the producers made that mess and then made a movie kind of paying homenage to her?

Strangely, I agree with the POV portrayed on this movie. I know her life was horrible, but many people (specially south america people who got their countries wrecked by USA) have worse lives and don't go on a killing spree.

I also don't think she killed 7 people for self protection. For some time, their drawings were being shown everywhere and they were being hunted, and she kept killing. For sure she was doing that just for the money, from men she saw to have lots of money on the car, just to support Tyria's "parties".

Anyway, I'd be ashamed to be involved in the production of this movie or in awarding it in anyway.
