Yet Another Annoying Thing About The Last Episode

While I'm not really sure if anyone else has already addressed this, I'd like to point out what I thought to be a contradiction between a previous episode and this last episode of POTF: Keely remembers Phil after the time machine takes off, but in an earlier episode, Phil says that Keely can't remember something she did with Phil involving time-travel because her present-day mind wasn't able to remember time travel. So, the important thing here is that one episode said her mind was unable to recall time periods visited in time travel, which means that she probably also wouldn't be able to recall events "undone" by time-travel. Also, I think Phil said straight-out that Keely wouldn't remember him if he moved back to the future. I'm not really sure if that happened, though. Sorry if it is just part of my imagination...And I don't know much about the show, but it seems to me that Disney would have recognized the error, and I'm guessing that since the last episode had to be such a sob story (and that's natural in most series, I realize) they could have done it for effect and hoped people wouldn't notice. So, that was long, but, any opinions?

I see where you're coming from.

In the episode Phil said that Keely wouldn't or couldn't remember what had happened earlier was with the Time Crumpler thingy.

And the episode where Phil said that Keely wouldn't remember him is he went back to the future is the episode with the time capsule at HG Wells. And the reason Keely wouldn't remember him is because if he put the note that Lloyd wrote to his future self telling them NOT to take their time traveling vacation (which landed them in this century in the first place), If the future Lloyd were to do what the letter told him to and not take the trip, then the Diffy's would never land in 2003/2004. Which is why Keely would't remember them because it would be like they never took their time trip. So she never would've even met them.

But as for the Time Crumpler, apparently it malifunctioned or something and sent pretty much whoever went near it into the past, but sent them back to the present later. But because Keely's mind isn't used to the future stuff as much as the Diffy's are, her mind wouldn't be affected by "Time Jumps".

The only thing I don't get about it though, is Curtis remembered stuff that happened, and he's from even farther in the past than Keely is.

But yea, Disney isn't exactly the best at explaining things like that. But I hope I was able to help you out a little =)

Okay, thanks! It makes more sense now, because I wasn't thinking about there being a difference between Phil just leaving and Phil never being there in the first plac, when it comes to what Keely would remember him...I don't know why, brain fart or something...:P But yeah, it is messed up that Curtis remembered what happened when he time traveled...
