Maybe I missed something but from what I seen the men with balaclavas on were just hired guns so killing them is pointless a week later the main criminals will just send more people to kill tally and the accountant.

that's why god created sequels, and they are probably secret society not hired guns.

I think it's natural for everyone of us to react to the most dangerous threat to our family first (the gunmen at the bar), and worry about tommorow later :)
