It looked so tasty. I'm not a big beer person, but just the way she wanted that beer and at the end, the way she enjoyed it, with the foam on her lips and her eyes sparkling, made me want a beer so bad! lol.

Another one of those scenes in a movie that gives me a craving is the one in the Negotiator, when S. L. Jackson's character lets "Frost" go and Frost lights up. There's a big close-up on his first drag, a slight crackling noise from how the cigarette's burning...always makes me want to smoke!

That scene at the end, her drinking the beer - was so perfect. It reminded me of her line, uttered during her massage at the beginning of the film. She just wants potatoes, potatoes, beer, and cream, cream, cream - and never to eat another lettuce leaf again!

Anyone on a diet will understand...

~ I loved that ending scene alot. To me it symbolized that Julia could finally be comfortable with herself & by herself. Without the unnecessary drama and stress. She could finally take a load off her thoughts and opinions of other people and have her nice cold beer.

I suppose, but in this case it was incredibly ramped up in that she had to be rigidly on a permanent diet to keep her body up to professional standards. No wonder she was cranky - she could never really eat! Or have a beer!
