Miyamoto VS....... ?

Okay, let's get geeky on this topic!

If you were to compare these tough guys, here is what these fictional characters offer, in terms of fighting skill and overall experience:

Miyamoto (From "Returner")-

* Adept in firearms, namely a pair of 1911 Colt Handguns

* Highly acrobatic, also able to fight well in hand-to-hand combat

* Has access to a near endless amount of equipment and also uses the latest technology & weaponry to aid him in his 'missions'

* According to his age in "Returner", trained under a 'professional' mercenary for (approximately) 10+ years, perfecting his craft

* Possesses the 'speed amplification device', which allows him to move 20x faster than normal

Neo (From "The Matrix")-

* Has no formal combat training or fighting ability in the 'real' world

* Does not possess any type of fighting ability, experience with firearms or any other skills pertinent to combat OUTSIDE of being jacked into "The Matrix", where he can instantly 'learn' or 'modify' his mind to have the knowledge of advanced combat techniques

* Is only effective (combat wise) while jacked into "The Matrix"

Preston (From "Equilibrium")-

* Trained at a young age to become a pinnacle of perfection, in mind, body and combat, thus being highly acrobatic and disciplined in the martial arts

* Trained in the deadly art of "Gun Kata"

* Trained in using a deadly Katana sword (also stems from Kendo training)

* Extensive field combat experience while going against 'sense offenders'

* Has the ability to supress his emotions (via a daily dosage of "Prozium")

Well, there you have it. Miyamoto or Preston would clearly beat Neo hands down in the 'real' world, but if you were to stick Miyamoto or Preston into "The Matrix", Neo would wipe the floor with them both.

Now, Miyamoto VS Preston would be an interesting and probably long fight, considering that Miyamoto is pretty crafty and does anything to gain the upper hand in a firefight, but he would eventually lose to Preston, simply because Preston is trained in "Gun Kata" and several forms of meleé/weapon combat.

But, if Miyamoto were to use the 'speed amplification device', he'd easily win against Preston, simply because of the speed boost advantage the device would give him.

But hey, since all of these characters are fictional (or should I say "science" fictional), there really isn't a need to try and imagine these three at each other's throats, is there?

Instead of having them fight each other, I'd have them all team up. Just a thought.

Okay, that's the end of the geeked out part. :P lol

Preston PWNs all.

Neo doesn't belong in these kind of discussions because in the matrix neo always wins but in the real world he never wins

I'd say Miyamoto got this.

Preston would use these guys as the "Daily practice"...they're not in his league.
