This movie IS realistic. In the movie, they want to become singers/pop stars. Don't some people in this world want to do the same? It's about going after your dream and not giving up.

i got it for this 10 year old i know on her big brother's library card. i thought it was cute and cheey (like so many disney movies, lol) but i missed a tiny bit of it so i'm waiting for it to be back at the library near me so i can watch what i missed. oddly enough i miised the same part two times. and both times i missed it i think i had to use the bathroom! i also happen to like the lizzie mcguire movie which said 10 year old girl has. another 10 year old i watch has the cheetah girls soundtrack and she and one of her friends showed me some of the little dance moves once or twice

Realistic my ass, what about at the end, how most of the town knew the words, do the song raven just made up at the spot. And she was callign her dog loudly, and the fireman said the dog cant hear her, so then she sings quietly and the dog hears? wtf? And how did the girls know the exact words do the song, raven wrote by herself and didnt show to anyone else? And that rap song that the whiteboy did was TERRIBLE!!

I thought it was damn hilarious. Not for the jokes but the weird stuff that's going on. For no reason, Raven goes "Lurk, mommy" in the cafeteria after a line... and then the four of them show up in the SAME OUTFIT but in different colors at the end, and sing with construction workers and policemen and whoever else showed up for a dog. Among other great lines are "Grrrowl power!" "It's cheetah-licious!" and "Cheetahlicious potential.." The whole movie is completely ridiculous but I love it, the same reason I love the Lizzie Maguire Movie.

I use the DVD as a boomerang and the cover as a coaster.
