The real answer is that Raven has a solo career and doesnt want to limit herself as just a member of the "Cheetah Girls". She's had a solo career before the Cheetah Girls group.

She wasn't fired. If she was, she wouldn't be doing the movies anymore. No, the reason she doesn't sing with them is because she's too good to take time off from her busy schedule of what she calls "singing" and "acting" to sing with them. BUt she is kind enough to take so much time to do the movies with them and get attention from doing those movies, more than she would singing with them the rest of the time. I guess it would kill her to give the other three a little help, publicity-wise, seeing as how she's got more than enough to spread around.
shareFirst, I don't see how lip-synching would get her fired; lots of singers do that because of the way some of the songs are, or if they're sick or something.
But it looks like she's not even going to be in the next movie...so it's elevated from just not singing with them now.
