First of all, American shows that are bummed off of foreign counter parts are severe indications of the dirth of originality that has been lost since MST3k. HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS EVER SEEN THE ORIGINAL "COUPLING"? The UK version? if you had, you'd be filled with as much rage, and incarnate HATERED as I am, upon discovering that NOT ONLY did they copy the NAME OF THE SHOW, the CHARACTER NAMES, the HANGOUT AREA, AND,

BUT they also claimed on their commercials, THE HIT ORIGINAL SERIES

just take a look at other UK series:

The Weakest Link: that Anne Robinson was a brutal host, she lobbed all her hate and disdain at the idiots on that show, but the american greg whats his name is just a lame excuse for a huge sack of in-organic puns.

Junkyard Wars: THIS SHOW WAS KING IN THE UK, but now, the God forsaken Yanks make their own copy of it with yet another high school geek host who couldn't make an audience laugh without prompting signs.

Even if NBC purchased the rights to Coupling, look for the following dialouge/key phrases:

I'm breaking up with you. You have no say.

'THE GIGGLE LOOP

'JUST BECAUSE SHE SAYS SHE'LL COOK DOESNT MEAN THEIRS SEX IN THE AIR
