how before you all go and rip into me let me say something first: the brit one was so infinetly better than the us one it's not even funny, which was part of the problem. any jokes and scenes that they ripped off from the brit one and made into the us one was not nearly as good. the jokes came off better, the actors were better, everything was better in the brit one. but if you look at the jokes that they did on their own, their own original jokes, weren't so bad. if you look at it as a us sitcom, not as a ripoff of the all mighty coupling. the us characters that were created worked better in thier own us environment where they only had 22minutes to tell a story, not 30 like in britain. so in defence of the us coupling: if they stuck to their own jokes, and didn't rip off the instant classics of the brit original, it would have had more fans because they were working on their terms, not cutting the brit jokes down by almost 10 minutes to fit into an american timeslot.

I can't believe I judged this show before watching it. I never learn my lessno: never trust the media even if it unanimously agrees on something. From now on they can shove their opinions up their asses. This show was very funny. It wasn't 3rd Rock or Scrubs, but pretty funny.

Not so bad indeed! I'm from Australia and believe it or not, i saw a spread of the cast in the October 2003 issue of U.S. Shape magazine and almost did a double take when i saw a picture of Lindsay Price (I love her!) and cursed because it was unlikely that i was ever going to see it in my lifetime. I know that for the most of the devoted fans of the original UK version of The Office and Coupling will always love the UK version better, but the US version of Coupling was still enjoyable and had a VERY attractive female cast - Rena Sofer's eyes almost killed me in every scene. Not to mention Lindsay and Sonya.

it is. Im not really familiar with the show (and the UK one) I actually just saw it because of Colin Ferguson, and I thought this would be one of those shows where everybody's naked or something.

I didnt know at all that it was going to be comedy anyways when I started to watch it, it was fun! It actually kept me laughing. I loved it oh if it only completed one season, I'd be happy. but no they cancelled it because people are too immature to watch it since they like friends better or the UK one.

Honestly I like this one rather than the UK too because their accents (no offense) doesnt really strike me, as an american to be funny. (ie when they say something funny, you dont catch it because of their accents)

So I hope this show will continue or reopen or something soon!!!!!!!
