departed.and ia are both excellent movies
so i watched the departed when it came out read about ia but it took a while until.i got a chance to see it. then aftwr reading the raging fan wars here i decided to departed right after ia. and you know what? i still love it. i gave both films 9/10
i must add that i am.usually very sceptical towards remakes. i plan not watch either red dawn, old boy, total recall, let the righr one in, funny games or anything of the sorts.
but the departed is a very good adaption of a very good movie. maybe it's rhe irish mob rheme and/or the cast. the more than make up for the fact that it'ss not an original idea.
