The orchestra music does have kind of a menacing tone to it, as Requiem does, but one does not necessarily remind me of the other. I love Shopgirl's soundtrack. Sun Kil Moon is amazing, as are the Volebeats.

I thought the soundtrack was great. That first introduction scene was really great and the music to it was so signifigant. I thought it made this movie more unique. If they just used B-52's music this could be a whole other deal. Loved Mark Kozelek being in it. His solo work is amazing. Ac/Dc is covered where you forget it's an Ac/Dc song.
The director used the score in a great way. He so well choreographed the cameras with it.
