Why is Steve Martin in the movie?
ILL!!!!!!!!!

I like him as a actor and comedian but in this movie he made me sick.

Did anyone else feel this way?

He was very good in it. Just because a comedian is a comedian doesn't mean he cannot act seriously.

I don't know why I like this film. Total guilty pleasure, I've watched it loads of times.
I wish Steve Martin had gone with somebody else to play the role, I find it quite sickening too.

Maybe they can do some with an older woman and younger guy, do you think that would be more accepted? Is it a double standard? Tadpole was pretty cool with a big age difference, but that was kind of diving into statutory rape.

I totally agree with rzms4. My previous comments here were awesome but deleted by the admin for some reason, but i was only being honest to the readers of this. Nonetheless, i hope i do not remember him in this role when i'm trying to watch him in other movies where he actually fits the role. Steve in the role was disturbing. Next time he gets compelled to play a role not suited to him, he could at least have a banjo part in it.
