It was so good when I was younger!!

I remember watching this movie when I was about 20 and being so moved... I just gave it another look and while the concept is still good, I find the acting and script to be incredibly cheesy. I'd better not watch "Garden State"!

I still do listen to Sun Kil Moon, though, so it wasn't a total loss.

I may have had misgivings before, but now I am able to enjoy it for what it is, light-hearted drama. There are many themes in this movie, depression for her and Ray, maybe the unwillingness to let someone in. He needed structure and clarity. None of that let's see what happens stuff. But he did fall in love, so even he couldn't completely control his heart. And Jeremy, where to begin. Talk about a work in progress.
