Cheesiest Line In Movie.

Cheesy? I thought it was creepy.
After seeing this movie, I read the book, and very much feel Steven Martin based it on real life relationships he's had with young girls. This movie turned me off to him. He's very talented and articulate, but is selfish and creepy with no emotional maturity. No likey anymore.
This film turned you off him? What makes you sure Ray Porter is Steve Martin? He might be part Steve Martin, but not 100% Steve Martin. This story may be inspired by his own experiences, but that doesn't mean to say this is really what happened.

I honestly liked that line and consider it best moment of the film. I was thinking to myself, this movie's got potential, it might even do the book justice.
Then the rest of the movie happened.
Ugh.
