Why did they use music to dramatise 90% of the movie?

Anyone else notice this? Music was use to dramatise almost everything? Yes, a little music here and there is suffice for certain scenes but it became annoying in the end.

Surely the plot (far fetched but a decent idea) and Affleck, Thurman etc, script could easily have enough to keep the interest going.

Anyway, a nice idea but the execution was poor in my opinion. 5/10.

Indeed. To me, nothing says B-movie like an oversaturated score. From the super-low budget short films you'll see at a festival to "The Happening," there's something very amaturish (almost cartoonish) about a constant score.
