maybe my biggest problem with this movie

Was wasting UT's talent. She should have gotten better material to work with prior to and after making Kill Bill. Instead, she had a forgettable role in a forgettable would-be actioner. yawn.

I'm not much of a fan of Uma, nor kill bill.I am, however a huge fan of Ben! ??????

Can't watch the Kill-Bills so no opinion there. Here she played a fairly strong woman. Rewatched it last night after 10 years and was fairly impressed. Remember, it's based on a Philip K. Dick novel. Pretty good premise. Philip K. Dick's work was the basis of movies such as Minority Report and Blade Runner and several other perhaps not such classic movies but still memorable such as a recent Matt Damon effort The Adjustment Bureau.

Its not an action movie, its a scifi movie with z little action thrown in. You must not know who philip k dick is. Yawn.

No. It's a John Woo-movie that contradicts itself too much to even make entertaining nonsense, with some action and supposed 'sci-fi' elements used to justify the typical John Woo-phoned-in-crap.

It's one of those guilty pleasures, with more guilt than pleasure, that I have to watch every once in awhile, although I full-well know how awful the movie is in pretty much all accounts, except the premise itself - the short story is much better when it comes to the premise.

A hundred million dollars (which is reduced to 92, and then to 90) is supposedly 'rich beyond wildest dreams' being the stupidest thing about the movie (there are real-world people that have more than 500 billion - if they dropped 100 million from their pocket, they wouldn't consider picking it up being worth the trouble).
