Just Saw It!!!

I remember seeing this movie the first time in theaters my Senior Year of High School. It was superb, and I love it. Bo was a peaceful hard working decent kind guy that was enjoying being a rising actor. There is enough character development for Bo to go from the peaceful kind guy to the you just crossed the line and screwed the wrong guy. The paparazzi photographers do a grand job of being deplorable bastards, and are exposed as chumps not to mention their hand to hand combat skills are the worst. Seems like the car race was a throwback to the Infamous Princess Dianna incident. I thought it was cool that it showed Bo to be a down to earth likable guy including saying hi to the joggers, and not being a snobbish egotistical jerk. The real life celeb camoes, and small parts are cool including Mel Gibson waiting outside of the shrinks office.

The theme of this movie seem to be what a man would do when his family was nearly killed by individuals. Also the risks of becoming a famous celeb. If anybody wants to become a famous celeb in Hollywood this does show the the large risks of being famous.
I think that there plenty of Bo type celebs in Hollywood. Meaning they are kind respectful easy going people that are easy to get along with. I know that Mellisa Joan Heart is a sweetheart because she added me on Myspace, and when I messaged her commending that she has remained a humble kind person despite becoming famous, and not a disrespectful celeb that disrespects fans she messaged me back saying thanks.

It has enough drama, suspense, action, and a strong climax. All the material in the movie is strong written material, and seemed to be very much based in reality. The movie does start off much like Jaws a bit mild in the beggining but then it starts to become more, and more intense.

It was good, but I wasn't sure if I was laughing at it or with it, esp the darkness of the storyline... There was a very thin attempt to justify Bo's murderous turn by portraying him as a family man and Rex Harper as a dumpster-driving, cunning enemy.

Reading between the lines, and thinking rationally, we see Bo through the eyes of his therapist, as an increasingly unstable lunatic, an outrageous anti-hero. This is a great comedy movie, I just hope they didn't intend to make a thriller.

Instead of going with the revenge angle bit, I would have the paparazzi as the main character, a sort of anti-hero type thing.

wow, you posted this 27 mins ago, i fininshed watching about 30 mins ago. im in uk, where are you? in our lives, what youve done this weekend, today, both our lives paralleled for an hour and a half!!!!
now thats mad!!!!!

ps. really good film, makes you thik what parasites these people are, especially when we know thats what the paps did to princess diana when she was in the crashed car.
