*beep* Overrated crap. So I guess you could just turn whichever Friday The 13th movie into crap like this by making one of the teenagers killing everyone, imagining that he/she is Voorhees just by showing it in one shot in the end? Buuulllshiiiaaaaeeet. People who stand up for this movie haven't seen many movies at all. Your standard must be low as hell.

3/10. And that's only because of the cinematography and the gore scenes (which were pretty good). The characters are undeveloped, the script is poor, the story is cliché and there are plenty of obvious plot holes. Koontz should rage against Aja for destroying such a fine piece of work like INTENSITY.

"Haute Tension received mixed reviews in North America. It holds a 42% rating from review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes." Shouldn't have more than 25 %.,

HIGH TENSION is *beep* wrapped in golden paper. Nothing else.

This wasn't about "Friday the 13" or unnecessary killing,its not about revenge, its a story about Love NOT lesbians, sometimes you love somebody so much you'll do anything to have them.
to me this is like The 6th sense meets Fight club,One of the best HORROR films I have ever seen, & I seen The Descent & Martyrs

Well the entire twist ending? is nothing more than a huge plot-hole that in retrospect makes the film make no sense. Anyways there are some things to be positive about, The cinematography is great, directing, editing, gore and acting are all top notch its just the horrendous plot that drags the movie down, 5/10

This isn't your typical horror movie. So I don't know why you're even bringing "Friday The 13th" into this. This movie is much more than just a psycho on a killing spree. Like the poster said, it's a love story, and what someone would do to have who they want.

Ask 'Lil Wayne who the 5 star b!tch is!
