usual suspects ending
So, the usual suspects had the same exact ending -- at the end you find out almost everything the character was saying, the story he was telling, was a lie -- and was considered a brillaint masterpiece yet this film goes further with the idea, showing you what's real and what's fake in the scenes by cutting back and forth, yet this film has the 'stupidest twist ever'?
It's not even a twist, mind you -- you know from the opening she's telling a story. "THINGS DON'T MAKE SENSE, WHAT WIT HER BEING IN THE TRUCK AND DRIVING AT HE SAME TIME@!!!!!" Dude. SHE'S LYING. She's mixing fantasy with reality. It's not that hard of a f_ucking concept to grasp.
It's a lame cop out for a film that didn't need one, sure, but the same could be said for Usual Suspects, a somewhat interesting crime caper with a 'brillaint' twist, that the slow handicapped man was a criminal mastermind.
