What's Up With The Plastic Wrap Scene?

I didn't get it. Was she actually choking herself with it or just imagining she was?

Piece of advice....Don't overthink it.

There are more than a few headscratching scenes that really don't make any logistical sense. I guess the writer is just leaving many things up to the viewers imagination - is this scene, whichever one, real or imagined?

You could go back to the very beginning of the movie and include every interaction between any characters.
It made it somewhat confusing and irritating for a lot of people. I found it initially jolting and kind of funny, but not as brilliant as many did.

I liked the more technical aspects like the camera angles and lighting and set pieces. Just the overall creepy atmosphere. Very cool and well done.

But if you bog your brain down with the story, it will just make you confused and irritated. Those that want to defend the story can of course. But to me anyway, there was nothing original or that interesting about it. It also did not take away from my personal enjoyment of the thing. But it might have kept it off my list of modern classics.
