Any fans of those movies around?
It might be just a coincidence but I guess the filmmaker watched Haute Tension as many times as me. That particular scene (won't spoil it) looked like a tribute to me.
That scene is based on serial killers who actually use human heads for oral sex . Doug Clark and ed kemper for example .
