Marie's dream: My interpretation -SPOILERS!

When we see Marie for the first time she tells Alex about the dream "like she's never had before" of when she's running away from a stalker killer...only to have it turn out that the killer is herself. This practically gave away the entire movie, or at least foreshadowed quite a bit. Did anyone else catch that?

Also, does anyone else think that when she masturbates she actually falls asleep after and has the exact dream play in her mind again? Only that we see it this time?

Isn't it funny that the killer comes at the exact same moment Marie cums?

The running theory I had, and it seems a lot of other people had, is that Marie and Alex don't actually know each other. The *spoiler alert* scene where the father answers the door and is knifed is actually Marie breaking into the house to kidnap Alex.
