How did she order?
Ok, so we're shown that the old woman is drinking a martini (or whatever), when she's being brought another one (the camera follows the martini's trip all the way from the bar to the table).
Now, did she order another martini before she had even started on her first one?
If she's going to drink two martinis in succession like that, then why not just order two martinis? Did she just order one martini, then wait for it to arrive, and immediately order another one?
This scene makes no sense! What were they thinking? Who orders martinis this way, and why?
And why didn't she order another martini while she's at it? So she's so thirsty she HAS to have two martinis in a row, but that is enough to satisfy her martini-thirst, so she won't order more? How can you go from 'lusting for martinis so much I can't order them normally' to 'two is enough'?
The more I think about this, the less sense it makes. Can anyone enlighten me?
