I agree. I'm also sure he would have found her carnal treasure to be quite adequate for his needs.

Whether Rosalee ever did it with Tad or not is academic. IT HAD BEEN HER INTENTION to do it with him, so Pete would have been justified in giving the bartender one for the road.

And I don't even think he was related to her.

That's what I always say. The bartender was Kathryn Hahn who is ridiculously hot, but no one ever mentions her when they spew off the predictable "hot" women of Hollywood.

Kate Boswoerth is so boring and she didn't even give a f-ck about him.

Of course. The bartender actually loved about him. Rosalee never did. The movie is unrealistic.

To use an analogy like Rosie's dad did, there was this car that he really liked all his life without any bumper stickers. Then this other one that had a lot of bumper stickers was available but he held out for the first one since he liked it better.

OR

He does well in life and is able to open his own Piggly Wiggly. He's given a choice of a store that he has known about and liked the location for all of his life, or one that has a lot of graffiti on the walls in a nearby neighborhood.

I'm an English fan.

Good point. The bartender liked Pete for who he really was. Rosie seemed to like him as a friend at best.

actually, I think he should have wound up with Cathy. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but some of her facial expressions when watching Pete and Rosalee lead me to believe that she had a small flame burning for Pete that she never made vocal.
