What do you guys think about her taking out her retainer at the table? I feel like that should be done first in the bathroom. Not at the table.

I went to a public school. I saw more than a few retainers get taken out at the lunch table. If you pop it out and stick it in a napkin or something it's not a huge deal.

If you're on a date with anyone, much less a movie star, you do not need to be doing that at the table.

Google tells me that a retainer is an 'orthodontic device'. We don't have those in Australia.

The teeth retainer wasn't as gross as the hero siting on a toilet and evacuating his bowels on screen.
