Yeah well the OP is one sort of idiot or another, I see from his voting history a full 34% of his ratings of movies are "1", and included in that are some pretty good movies. So yep he has issues, more than just commenting on his own comment.

If you ever been to Japan, you would know it had it had the just right amount of karoke particularly since they were Charlotte's friends at that time period (late nineties/early 2000's).

If you've ever been to Japan or spent any time there you'd know that this is one of the things that the Japanese love to do.

There's karaoke places everywhere. You go, rent a room by the hour that has couches, a big screen and karaoke equipment. There's even room service of sorts so you can order drinks and snacks. It's a fun way to spend a couple hours with friends getting drunk and singing loudly and off-key.

It's also a cheap date and a place for youngsters to get a semi-private area to make out. Seriously. It's a really cheap option but the door doesn't lock and there could be security or secret cameras filming you during that time. But it's cheaper than a love hotel and the fact that people are normally singing loudly and off-key the rooms are usually soundproofed.
