A similar movie?

I've been trying to figure what this movie was that I once saw a part of. It has many similarities to The Ladykillers (I haven't seen the original one but I don't believe it's the one I'm looking for).

There is a heist performed in the same way, from a neighbour's house through a tunnel, the houses pretty close together. I don't remember what they robbed but I have a feeling it was something from someone's house rather than from a bank or casino.

There was also a sort of similar feel to the movie in terms of humor and mood, and a weird bunch of people. If I had to guess I'd say it was made in the 90s or 80s.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm one of those people who get obsessed if they can't get a hold of something they remember vaguely...

I doubt that this is the one you are thinking of, but was it Small Time Crooks? It was a Woody Allen movie where they attempt to rob a bank from a cookie store 2 doors down. It was similar.

Small Time Crooks starring Woody Allen is also has a similar theme. I find both movies funny in their own ways. Both Allen and Coens are geniuses.

Dirty Money although no humour in it, and Sexy Beast both have teams of criminals tunnelling into a bank.

Thanks to everyone for responding! I've been so busy that I haven't been able to check these movies out but I will in the hopefully near future. I already have Small Time Crooks on my computer cause the cookie store sounded familiar but I'm not sure if it's the one I'm looking for after all.
