Could Tom Hanks have been any better?
I loved his part in the film. He brought it all to the character.

shareI agree, I thought he was great in this film
shareTHAT IS MOST UNUSUAL!
shareWE MUST HAVE WAFFLES!
Best performance I've seen from Tom Hanks, he was wonderful in this.
He might have been the best one in this movie, but he and his performance is far inferior to the brilliant Alec Guinness.
shareI'm a fan of British comedies of the 1950s, and I like Alec Guinness, but this version of Ladykillers is far better than the British one, in my opinion. I prefer Guinness in "Kind Hearts and Coronets" and....the one where he plays a bigamist. I can never remember the title of that movie. I'm also a fan of Alastair Sim (Laughter in Paradise, Green for Danger, A Christmas Carol, The Best Days of Your Life, An Inspector Calls).
Jim Hutton: talented gorgeous hot hunk; adorable as ElleryQueen; SEXIEST ACTOR EVER
Tom Hanks could not have been any better. Nobody could do a better job than Tom Hanks. Damn Skippy.
"THE SOUND YOU HERE IS THE AIR RUSHING THROUGH MY BROTHERS HEAD"
No, he was amazing, could have left Simmons, Ma, and Wayans out of it. Not a movie made with more different words in the script.
shareI totally read the topic in my Chandler Bing voice.
The answer is no. He was fantastic.
