By the way, the incapacitated Gerhardt family patriarch's name is Otto, like the dog in the World War I themed dog food commercial who is incapacitated by a vintage gas mask. In the second episode we learn that Otto Gerhardt's father was a gunman (Artillerieschütze) blasting mustard gas at the Allies in World War I.
