there has to be at least one normal character

in comedy there always has to be the one straight man. The one normal character that looks at the other crazy characters and points out the craziness and tries to reign them in. you have the other smother brother, Lemon from 30 rock (sometimes) King Arthur from Monthy Python and the holy Gail. That's how comedy works. I saw this movie and I knew it didn't work but I could never see why but now it dawned on me. There is no straight man. All the characters, everyone, is a *beep* whack job. There is no normal one to gage the craziness' of the others. which in turn makes the craziness a lot less funny. anyone else notice this.
