Damn scary
I don't know about you guys, but this movie scared the hell out of me...
Just finished watching it alone in the middle of the night with headphones*.
I rarely get this jumpy when watching a horror movie. The sound effects really did their job, combined with the scary children. I hate possessed kids (and clowns in the sewers).
Yes, there were huge continuity problems, like Adam's dad burning up in a church one second, then saving his family the next, but who cares?
I realise the scary bits were mostly "Boo!"-moments, but that kid would give me the creeps jsut by smiling. That actor must be evil. Or possessed anyway.
My heart rate is slowly returning to normal. But how the hell am i supposed to cross the darkened shadowfilled hall to get my teeth brushed. And how do I avoid *beep* myself when seeing my reflection in the mirror when the lights go on?
*=Watching a horror flick alone past twelve at night in a dark room, and getting the sound through headphones is really a sadistic way of enjoying scary movies. And remember to keep your closet doors open just a bit. Yes, I love scaring myself.
