I just watched this movie last night and I'm stuck on something, I might of just missed over it b/c I was half asleep but who's funeral was Deniro's character at? and how did Kinnear's character automatically know where to find him?

He is at the funeral of the little boy that Adam killed.

Kinnear had called Godsend and was told where to find him.
