Good grief; please help with these questions I have re: Godsend

Thanks in advance; I hope I'm not repeating any questions in the other posts, but I am SO confused. Here they are:
1. Do you mean to tell me that Kinear DIDN'T die when DeNiro bashed in the back of his head??
2. What's the meaning of the newspaper clippings DeNiro is going through towards the end, concerning the disappearance of some local physician (and who is that dr.)?
3. What's the deal with the ending when Kinear and his wife move into their new home which is exactly the same one they had moved into after the cloning?
I really do appreciate any help! I may actually need help if I'm watching it a second time...;-)

Nope he didn't. There's a reason why he appears in the rest of the movie.

DeNiro IS the physician and he fled after the whole Adam/Zachary thing. Then later on you can see him checking the newspaper for his next victims to reencarnate Zachary.

3. What's the deal with the ending when Kinear and his wife move into their new home which is exactly the same one they had moved into after the cloning?

It's not the same house. Actually it also looks quite different.

Wow, I must have been in short supply of brain cells the day I watched this movie! I was obviously way off. That was really nice of you to take the time to help me here! I could've sworn that kind of wound killed Kinear and I guess I just assumed his "resurrection" was part of the script...duh. I didn't realize that about the newspaper clippings, either. Thanks so much for telling me that DeNiro is later on looking for another victim; I sure missed that!
I really appreciate your help; I obviously need to pay closer attention next time. Thanks so much.
