Adam!! ADAM!!!! Adaaaaaammmmm!!!! - god i'm sick of it!

okay how many panic-striken "ADAM!!!" moments do there have to be in this movie?! it's going way too far.....and its running around in circles. i hate movies that are supposed to be scary, but all they end up doing is barely scratching the surface of creepy, and thru the same basic scenes over and over again. it never really gets past touching the surface.

I agree. And could RRS have been a bigger whimp than in this? Please!

Tell me about it.

Trying to interfere every time the father tried to talk to Adam was annoying too. The man can't talk to his own son without her butting in? What's up with that?

The mother was very annoying, especially when the father was trying to make an active effort to sort Adam out and there she was all coddling and pathetic. Adam should have killed her first then we could have gone on with the film!

Clap, clap, clap,

I second your post, cosmic_quest . One of my biggest peeves in movies are characters with annoying voices or tendencies. I don't think bratty, immature, self-centered behavior is cute in adults, but those types keep showing up in movies.

I've been know to stop watching a movie entirely or watch with my thumb on the mute button when there's a character with a voice that could peel wallpaper.

Don't you understand, the feminism and loving woman against hateful man imagery cannot be stricken from Holywood. The Wiccan Goddess of all that is good and anti-warlike will rise up someday and slay all the horned male demons, for the children, and the sake of vaginal superiority.
Of course there's that problem with the boys becoming evil men someday... heck didn't have to wait to long in this flick -

BUT, if there were a drinking game where we chugged every time someone said "Adam" we would all be wasted pretty quick.

Not to mention the stereotypical boring bully (why weren't they at this kid's funeral, the mother knew them well enough to call when he was missing) and DeNiro at the funeral just immediately babbling on and on confessing everything with hardly any prompting.

Adam?
