shareNo, but a terrible film all the same. Typical Hollywood rubbish of screwing with history/mythology simply because they're lazy screenwriters and can't make it work according to the actual story.

shareAgain, really a Hollywood movie. Remember the time- women were little more than possessions to the men- strong women are only a relatively recent phenomenon.
We have no concept of the barbaric nature of the times- look at the physical death of Jesus, and you get an idea of how cruel these people really were. The Passion of the Christ is more realistic than any of these movies, but that said, I enjoyed "Gladiator" more than Troy.
