10 Things Wrong With You: look in a mirror.

PS I see that all your posts are promos for your YouTube presence. “Ten things that are wrong with . . . “

Fuck you and fuck YouTube. I have ZERO respect for a pontiff who can speak into a camera, but lacks the skills actually to write.

Thanx! I agree with you 100%! Many people cannot grasp Grade 5 English grammar skills...

My husband and I were laughing at how the dirty blond kid turned into the dark-haired Garner. No resemblance. Of course we were all surprised that he was supposed to be the same person, but that was only because it was impossible -- different face shape, everything. And the young versions of these people weren't very likable.

I will tell you that it is the solemn wish of every old couple deeply in love that they die in each other's arms. But the chances of that are impossible, unless you're going down on the Titanic or an airplane or standing on the edge of a ditch with a Nazi pointing an automatic rifle at you.

That was one of my main problems with this movie, too: the young version of the character bore absolutely no resemblance to the older version played by Garner. They could've spent ten bucks on a bottle of hair color at the drug store to make the young guy dark-haired, but they didn't care enough. Even if he had dark hair like Garner, his face was completely different.

Part of it was so we would be surprised that the people in the story were the two elderly people. But that's cheating, if you ask me.

Did you ever see Space Cowboys? They had people who looked like young versions of the actors, and since James Garner still sounded like James Garner when he was young, they had Garner do the voice for the lip-syncing of the young version of himself. So it could have been done, but if they had, there would have been no big discovery scene.

ONLY 10???? L0L I just noticed at 1:06 into the movie after Allie DESTROYS Noah's fence with her car, his response is, "Do you want to come in?" lol I was thinking..."yeah, and you can maybe DEMOLISH the inside of the house too?"
Then "Little Pretty" is so smug after Noah sez, "You can marry Lon and we can be friends?" "Being friends" is the LAST thing any guy wants to hear, esp. from a former lover! I went thru this long ago, and my ex also married a lawyer. (PROFESSIONAL LIAR). There are more parallels too.
BTW, if more of us followed the 10 Commandments, we would be MUCH better off in all areas of our lives!
