This is probably random but as I am watching the duck pond from "The Notebook" I couldn't help thinking 'That is a lot of ducks! How on earth did they find so many?!'

Professional swan actors. Reese Witherspoon wanted to play one of the swans but she didn't make the cut.

5 minutes have passed, and I'm still laughing.

I wonder if the swan actor union had requirements for how long they could be in front of the camera before they needed breaks or visits to the craft service tables.

I am seriously laughing at the Reese Witherspoon comment....but seriously..the scences with the ducks is the most beautiful scene in the movie.

I think I remember in the commentary or special features the director saying that they only had a small amount of them and reproduced them with CG. It does make for a beautiful scene though.
