Thundercats in Masters of the Universe

They aren't Thundercats obviously, but in the 2002 Masters of the Universe, there was a race of humanoid cats that He Man saved from a swarm of locusts sent by Beast Man. They were only in that one episode and they weren't in the original series, but they did make a figure of one of them in MOTU Classics. Do any of you guys remember them? I wonder if the creators of the show designed them as kind of a little homage to Thundercats.

Said in an uber cheesy way, but yeah i remember that scene from the 2002 series or so, is it that one you're on about.

Yep, thats it. King Carnivus. I read somewhere that they were going to work in that as a cross over but they couldn't get the license for Thundercats.
