Actually, I LIKE them both as people and as actors-they're both very capable-yet-with very few exceptions,almost EVERY film they appear in bombs badly, whether it's any good or not. Rob Shcnider (sp?) is another one, as is Dana Carvey. Yet, a year or so goes by, and here they are again. While I'm happy for them-being able to earn a living-you'd think by now producers would be hesitant to have them star in something they were making.

IMNSHO, both are talented actors. Maybe you just don't like the types of films they choose. I like many of Quaid's works, especially Frequency, The Rookie, even Innerspace; and though I didn't care for Wyatt Earp or Great Balls of Fire as a whole, I thought he played his roles very well.
I'm not so much into Stone's works, but I thought she did a good job in Catwoman and The Quick and the Dead (a difficult role, I feel).
