I know Cape Fear was remade with Robert Deniro, but this was movie had a lot of similarities to it, especially with the bad guy terrorizing a family, anyone else think so?
i gave the film a 7/10....because i liked the actors mostly
I think it was similar, but in Cape Fear they knew from the start that DeNiro's character was bad (Nick Nolte did anyway) where here it's kind of like the guy sneaks up on them and doesn't seem bad at first.

Aside from Juliette Lewis being in both, I don't see many similarities between them.
