Kristen Stewart

How great of a role does she have in this movie?

She's the daughter of Cooper Tilson (the protagonist) she has a decent part as her and her brother discover a huge clue to the mystery of the manor. I think she was about 12 or 13 when she did this film. If your a fan of her it would pay to see this

Okay cool, thanks!
I am a fan of hers, indeed. Have been since before the Twilight days...

In my opinion Cold Creek Manor was one of the better thrillers of 2003. Yet I watched it recently after watching some of Kristen's newer releases such as Twilight and Adventureland. While I believe actresses such as Dakota Fanning were more talented than Kristen was at that age, she more than held her own in her performance in Cold Creek Manor. While I did not take notice of her as much in my first viewing, I now realize in a retroactive manner while I enjoyed this movie so much the first time I viewed it.

I've actually liked Kristen Stewart's work before "Twilight," and I think in one sense it's kind of a shame she has gotten mixed up in all that stuff. She is so much better an actress than "Twilight" deserves, IMO.

This one is good enough, but my favorite of her early roles is "Speak." Her acting is absolutely fabulous there. She brings so much delicate subtlety to the role. Just her silent face says so much in that film.

And also "The Cake Eaters"-- very well-done work. I love Dakota Fanning, too, and would be hard-pressed to decide which of them is the better actress, frankly. I might say Stewart, honestly. She's got so much RANGE and is able to give subtlety to her acting, showing deep, deep emotions with the smallest nuance of expression.

There's another haunted house movie she did, isn't there? She's very good in that one, too, I thought, playing a teen who has her own troubles coming into a "troubled" house. Which one is that-- is it "The Messengers"?
