This film is not nearly as bad as some people have said it is....I have seen it a few times....and each time it has kept my interest and has given me the creeps at times....it is a very solid mystery with a decent cast. I know that some people expected to watch a typical horror film and perhaps that is why they were disappointed. But if you are looking to watch a decent mystery thriller...than you are in luck...worth watching!

I disagree, I feel it IS that bad. I will not, however, deny that I do watch it when it comes on TV, it's something like a train wreck. It is most definitely "lol" worthy, for real. :P

Not a bad movie at all.
Sure, there were a few moments which were laughable, but it's an entertaining thriller. More of a psycho-thriller (like "Pacific Heights") and a standard 'house with a past' murder mystery ("Amityville Horror") combo I'd say. Loved seeing Sharon Stone perform as always, Stephen Dorff was *beep* hot and made a good villain, and the movie itself was never boring and was consistently entertaining. I liked it and rated it a 6.
