Leah was a tramp and cruel to Cooper

When Leah tells Cooper that her boss asked her to sleep with him in exchange for a promotion and she admits that she said yes although didn't go through with it because she had heard what happened to her son, Cooper should have immediately packed up her things, shipped her butt back to New York and divorced her. Any wife who would consider let alone agree to such a thing is a tramp. She didn't turn down the offer and would have slept with him if not for the sudden change of heart upon hearing about her son. She never even said anything about being sorry or loving Cooper when she told him. Even in the way she admitted to him what had happened was done in a cruel way. Not even an apology to him for saying yes at first.

Leah was being lured into adultery by her smooth, handsome boss and the promotion he offered, but the phone call broke her out of his spell to refocus on her family and the commitments thereof. She thus forsakes all of that to concentrate on working on her marriage & family by moving to the remote manor. After being there for awhile she decides to come clean with her husband at a critical moment.

That doesn't sound like a tramp to me, but rather a woman in a troubled marriage who almost made a huge mistake, yet had the wisdom to recognize what was happening and make a quick U-turn. Her confession to Cooper smacked more of being honest and trying to fix/heal the marriage than the opposite. Besides, Cooper wasn't Mr. Innocent as Leah caught him eying semi-nudie pics of Dale's young wife before she finally 'fessed up.
