These are some quotes that I feel should have been included in the special:

Big Bird: Aw, now I'll never know how Santa Claus did it!
Luis: Big Bird, remember what Oscar told you?
Big Bird: Well, yeah. He said that if Santa couldn't get down the chimney, nobody would get any presents.
Gordon: Well, Big Bird, does it look like nobody is getting any presents?
Big Bird: Uh, no.
Gordon: That's right, Big Bird. Miles, you got that new electric guitar you always wanted.
Miles: I sure did!
Luis: And Gabi, you got that new synthesizer you were always begging me and your mother to get you.
Gabi: Oh yes, I did, and I love it!
Gordon: So you see, Big Bird, Santa was able to deliver the presents to everybody here on Sesame Street.
Big Bird: B-but it'a a miracle!

Um, what I'm saying is that I feel the special should have been made much later.

It's fine the way it is. Besides, if it was made much later, like after 1983, Mr. Hooper wouldn't be in it. :(

It wouldn't have seemed right without Mr. Hooper in it. My Grandbabe loves the Grandparent figure and the love shared in the film. I love it!
